Heeeeeey friends! I am getting so dang excited to meet you all – and looking forward to “meeting your voices” this Tuesday evening! 🙂 Thanks to everyone for sharing such great info about yourself and for offering your expectations for the trip too. God has beautiful things in store for us.
One quick question for you all – Do any of you have any special skill in construction or other special skills that might be helpful? You might think about those things you would be able to teach someone younger than you. Have you taught kids how to swim? Could you teach someone how to play an instrument? Have you spent time with a parent or other relative building a house or making repairs? Let me know!

Hey!.. Well I have experience in constuction but I dont know if that would help with anything on the trip. I also am a soccer player so I could teach that, if it’s necessary. Just let me know! 🙂
I have experience in construction… including roofing, painting, scaffolding, tiling etc. I can do that stuff better than I can teach it. But then again I have never tried teaching others how to do it. I was always the one being taught. 🙂 And I have taught kids how to swim (and dive) before. Anything I know how to do I could teach someone to do. So if there is a need for help in a particular area, just let me know. I might know how to do it. (but nothing musical wise, I can sing, but I’m terrible with instruments). 🙂
i could teach them gymnastics!!! ahhahaah ummm i’m not sure they want to learn that… but cartwheels and simple stuff. i dunno if that would be appropriate though.
Oh yeah.. I could also teach piano! I’ve been playing for about 8 to 9 years..
I would definitely teach them sports if that’s a possibility, football basketball volleyball softball or baseball. Anything but cricket rugby and soccer. Also I’m on a gymnastics team but it’s not normal stuff it’s like throwing people up in the air, so me and Danielle could maybe work something up if you wanted.
I could try teaching piano but seems like that’s covered, I’m mostly praise and worship, never liked all the classical stuff, but ya been playing since 1st grade. I’m also in the guys quartet so I guess that means I can sing kinda not really, but I’m not sure that’s teachable
Anything you want me to attempt I’ll give it a shot!
I’ve never really tried, but I’ve played piano for about 8 years. I could probably teach them that though! thats probably about it though. I have some experience in art, but probably not enough to teach anything.
