Hey guys! We were able to reach most of you yesterday, which is great. Those we couldn't reach, it's all good – but please be watching the blog for repeats of the info we shared!
Here's how I did this – We need approximately 25 of each item, give or take. Everyone is going to be bringing **the equivalent** of about half of that. If your name's not listed, bring what we discussed.
Sam – 5 boxes of markers, 5 packages of construction paper, 1000 paper plates (however many pkgs that is)
Vasti – 15 boxes of crayons
Clarissa – 15 staplers and staples
Nate – 15 staplers and staples
Josh – 20 rolls of Scotch tape
Elijah – 20 pairs of kids' scissors
Stephen and Sam – would the two of you coordinate with each other to make sure we have 30-40 small bottles of craft/kids paint between the two of you?
Hannah and Christian – would the two of you coordinate with each other to make sure we have 25 bottles of glue?
**you all can coordinate with each other on the blog if you want – if you'd rather get phone info, you can ask one of the leaders for the info and we'll get in touch with you
Friends, PLEASE don't go buy these things or think that we're asking you to do so. We want these items to be donated by stores or rounded up from friends and family. Ask to speak with the manager at stores you're visiting, let them know what you're doing, and ask if they would be willing to donate these supplies to the school for blind children – I think you'll be surprised what they're willing to donate. 🙂
If you try to round these up or get them donated and you're really struggling, let us know.
