My Call to Missions

Christian Bunch

Well, this is my first mission trip outside the US, and I'm pretty siked! Going into my first year of high school was a big step for me, but by the end of the year it seemed that I had really grown to know who God really was and that He wanted a relationship with Me.

I felt like I needed something to permanently set me on fire for Him, so I started asking Him to show me the path He wanted me to take. One day as I was reading a book, Live Like a Jesus Freak: DC Talk (great book btw), I read a chapter about getting involved. It said one of the best ways to see Christ at work is through a mission trip, and it listed some sites, so I searched. I came upon AIM, and I know God led me to this specific trip for a specific reason. I feel like God wants me to step outside my comfort zone and spread Him to a bunch of people I've never met with a team that I've never met. I know this trip will bring me new friendships, new memories, and a better understanding of my purpose in this world. I can't wait!

Christ has given me so much, and it's about time I start doing some stuff for Him.

"I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me." Galatians 2:20 CEV
