SOOOO this is a place where you can post any prayer requests that you might have. i did this last year as well, and a lot of people posted things and we all encouraged and prayed for each other. it can be about anything!!! family members, school, finances, illnesses, ect.
i’ll go first 🙂
1. being home schooled, i have a lot of work to do and a lot of the time, spending time with god escapes my mind. pray that i would not lose sight of him in all the craziness of life. i need to focus on him more than i currently do.
2. i sent out my support letters a little late this year, and i do not yet have all the financial support that i need to go on this trip, and i’m sure i’m not the only one with this concern!!! i know i need to trust that God will provide me with what i need, but i am still really really frightened that i will not have all of my support in time. pray that the money keeps coming in and that i would trust that jesus will provide me with the finances that i need for this amazing opportunity.
Danielle, this is awesome! Thank you so much for getting prayer requests rolling on here. Just a reminder (and I’m going to make a post about this in a little while) – the facebook group group is available for posting prayer requests as well and since we made it a closed group, only team members and AIM staff will be able to read those. Well, let’s see…
I’ve been having a lot of problems with my dad lately…you guys will most likely find out on the trip haha :p
Sometimes I get so caught up with things that I forget about spending time with the Lord.
Annnnnnnnd let’s start praying for everyone in Jamaica that we might have the ability to help and touch in God’s name. I’m so ready! Let’s pray to be prepared. Prepared to be unprepared. 🙂
Mine is kind of a prayer/praise, a little over a month ago my friends dad died of pancreatic cancer and two days later I found out my mother has cancer… prayer for her health and for it to heal… but praise because the only reason she found out she had cancer was because her kidney, where she has cancer, also had another growth that she had since birth that was making it bleed which caused her to have a fever and for her urine to have blood in it. So in short, my mom won’t even need to go through chemotherapy, she’ll just have to have a part or whole of her kidney removed all because God allowed her body to point straight to it in some way for the doctors to find.
