Expectations:
I truly expect God to do something amazing!!! I have been praying that God will prepare us to bless the people of Jamaica in a miraculous way. Nothing is to small for God so I’m so excited to see what He is going to do. I also expect things not to go perfect. I know there will be bumps along the way that will test our patience. I expect that these bumps will unify us as a body. Lastly I expect that when I leave this trip I will have 15 new friends that I can do life with.
Call to Missions:
From a young age I know that God wanted to use me in His ministry. Times during the last five years I had been resistant to this calling by being consumed by things of the world, but God has brought me back to where I believe He wants to use me.
This all began summer 2008 when I went on a study abroad to Spain. I went with people who’s soul desire was sex, drugs, and alcohol. This really brought a new perspective to my attention: that there are so many people that are around me everyday that need to know God. From then on God has been working in my heart and burdening me for the lost.
